Lao Tzu was the father of Taoism. I am not a Taoist. . . I am not even sure what it means to follow Taoism. However, he has some fun quotes and words of wisdom for us all.

"Be Content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you."

"Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step."

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

"I do not concern myself with gods and spirits either good or evil nor do I serve any."

"If you realize that you have enough, you are truly rich."

"Care about people’s approval and you will be their prisoner."
